Box Tree
Modern British
££££
This iconic Yorkshire restaurant was established back in 1962 and continues to draw in diners today. It’s set within two charming, 18th-century sandstone cottages, and has a plush, antique-furnished lounge and two luxurious dining rooms. The cooking these days comes in the form of a modern, creative tasting menu featuring dishes like their take on an 'arroz negro'. Service is formal and professional, while there's a choice between the 'Sommelier's' and 'Premium' wine flights to accompany the food.
