Tuju

Creative · ★★★ Michelin

A truly unique experience? Here, just a stone's throw from the Museu da Casa Brasileira (MCB), something truly extraordinary awaits — Tuju occupies an elegant three-storey building devoted entirely to culinary pleasure. The main entrance is on the ground floor, where the experience begins with small canapés and where the wine cellar and an interior garden are also to be found; the second floor houses the dining room, arranged around a large open kitchen surrounded by tables, whilst the third floor is home to a sweeping bar with panoramic views. Chef Ivan Ralston, ably supported by a large brig

Evvai

Modern Cuisine, Brazilian · ★★★ Michelin

It is rare to encounter a restaurant that expresses, without restraint, its chef's desire and passion for gastronomy, life, and nature — yet at Evvai, that is precisely what you will find! The concept of chef Luiz Filipe Souza, which successfully fuses Brazilian and Italian influences, yields dishes that are not only visually stunning but also brimming with skill, knowledge, and balance — it is remarkable how the chef manipulates temperatures as though they were simply another texture. The offering takes the form of a single tasting menu called Oriundi — a symbol of cultural exchange — beginni

Should you wish to spend a day shopping, with a great spot to eat and recharge, the sleek JK Iguatemi mall, in Vila Olímpia, is an excellent choice, home to a wealth of luxury brands. On the third floor, this lively restaurant surprises with its design and luminosity — a vast, open space filled with plants that, in its own way, calls to mind the inside of a greenhouse. The acclaimed chef Helena Rizzo, who sets the direction of the restaurant, offers an extensive menu featuring some specialities from Maní, her MICHELIN-starred gastronomic restaurant. It’s not by chance that this restaurant occupies a charming, whitewashed property with blue windows – an external decor that is reminiscent of houses in inland areas of northeast Brazil, a part of the country that provides the inspiration for the cooking here. Under the baton of chef Cafira Foz, the exclusively female team creates cuisine that combines traditional flavours with an international touch. On the menu, there are options such as the authentic “paçoca” (shredded sun-dried beef served with “baião de dois” and plantains), a simple dish yet one full of strong flavours. For dessert, the

Located on the iconic Avenida Rebouças, this restaurant stays true to its original concept: championing Brazilian cuisine with international influences, with the grill taking centre stage. The modern space is flooded with natural light, blending industrial elements with a striking glass-fronted open kitchen. Throughout the week, a set lunch menu and a lighter version are on offer, alongside the Ravenna menu, featuring calorie-conscious options for those seeking a more balanced approach to eating. On Saturdays, the service is à la carte, with the option of a full feijoada, the hearty slow-cooke

One of the standout restaurants in the Baixo Pinheiros area! This establishment, under the direction of chef Tássia Magalhães — who leads an all-female kitchen team — offers an enticing menu of Italian-influenced signature dishes. On the floor, the wine list is carefully curated by Danyel Steinle, who champions Brazilian labels without overlooking international references, ensuring pairings that are both precise and elegant. The experience is divided into three formats: the 11-course Experiência menu, served exclusively at the kitchen counter, a 6-course menu inspired by the delicacy and stren

An innovative dining option in the trendy Pinheiros district of the city. The focus here is very much on Japanese culture, with cuisine inspired by yōshoku cooking which reinterprets Western-style dishes to Asian tastes. Chef Thiago Bañares offers just a single menu option, albeit with a cutting-edge touch and one that includes Brazilian ingredients in his dishes. The latter include a selection of hot options, such as the Eryngil mushrooms, which is combined with chicken broth, tucupi and mustard seeds, plus matured fish cooked on the grill.
