This elegant place dedicated to modern cuisine is part of the impressive Tschuggen Grand Hotel, which is perched 1 800m above sea level. Young chef Marco Campanella and his team astound diners with aromatic dishes that frequently present as elaborate and playful, yet maintain depth of flavour and technical precision, striking a perfect balance between robustness and sophistication. The exquisite sauces demonstrate true artistry – take, for example, the wonderfully full-bodied and velvety bisque with delightful roasted notes, which elevates beautifully firm langoustine tail. The jewel in the crown of Andreas Caminada's suite of restaurants delivers an exceptional experience across the board. From the wonderfully stylish interior of this historical castle nestled at the foot of Piz Beverin, to the impeccably professional service, to the sophisticated, beautifully balanced cuisine abounding with interestingly contrasting flavours. Instead of relying on conventional premium ingredients, the dishes draw almost exclusively on the very finest of what the Graubünden region has to offer! Some of the produce is sourced from their own fantastic vegetable garden. The meal ki

The name is a nod to the owners' deep-seated interest in NASA's famous programme. The space theme is also evoked through the elegant, dark interior, the atmospheric dimmed lighting and reprints of original photos from various missions, accompanied by captivating descriptions. The open "satellite kitchen" invites you to witness the culinary artistry unfold firsthand. Enjoy friendly and attentive service and soak up the atmosphere as head chef Thomas Huber and sous chef Sergiu Midori prepare bold modern dishes such as monkfish and calamaretti with bouillabaisse, sauce rouille and chorizo, or dry

The beautiful grounds of Schloss Schauenstein are home to OZ, another of Andreas Caminada's restaurants. The name is derived from the Romansh word for "today", a nod to the contemporary cuisine served here, which is exclusively vegetarian. Seasonal produce arrives fresh from the estate's own permaculture garden or from long-standing partners, and preserves ensure variety on the plate during the winter months. You certainly won’t miss meat, given the diverse and harmoniously composed flavours showcased by chef Simeon Nikolov in his creative nine-course menu. The Chawanmushi variation is a highl

The Asian restaurant at the Grischa hotel serves a combination of Chinese and Japanese dishes. Tip: Some dishes are designed for sharing. If you fancy the Peking duck for two, which is absolutely to be recommended, be sure to pre-order (at least 48hr in advance). You also have the option of taking your pick of many of the ingredients and having them put together as you wish. The sleek, authentic design of the restaurant is also appealing.

This restaurant enjoys a lovely, quiet location in the castle grounds. Inside the bright, high-ceilinged space, modern design meets warm wood; outside, there is a gorgeous terrace. Service is adept and delivered by a thoroughly charming team. They serve regional cuisine, in which seasonal ingredients sourced from select local producers go into extremely flavoursome dishes – the produce steals the show. Andreas Caminada's take on Graubünden classics also features on the menu, such as Maluns (fried potato crumbles) with apple compote and cheese, or Capuns Tatta (dough-filled chard leaf wraps). T

At this trendy Alpine-style restaurant, the kitchen works exclusively with regional ingredients, many of which they produce themselves. Seasonality and a strong sense of terroir define the cuisine – the staff will be happy to tell you more about their concept. To order, simply mix and match the dishes on the menu that pique your interest. From Vazerol char to Grisons lamb, the outstanding quality of the ingredients shines through in every course. The wines are also sourced from the region and surrounding areas. Warm and courteous service is provided by staff who are attentive to diners' needs.

At the fine dining restaurant of the Maiensäss Hotel Guarda Val, which enjoys an idyllic location, the rustic charm of a 300-year-old cow byre meets sleek contemporary design. Exceedingly tasteful decor also lends warmth to the lovely lofty space, and the team provides friendly and adept service. The kitchen champions regional sourcing, relying almost entirely on Swiss ingredients for the two set menus (one vegetarian) and à la carte options such as "Lago Maggiore pike-perch with verjus and Jerusalem artichoke". Lunch is more streamlined, featuring a three-course set menu and an à la carte sel
