Nothing could make more sense here in the picturesque Weissensee Nature Park than to align the kitchen philosophy with the natural surroundings. In his six-course "BERG.SEE." menu, chef-patron Hannes Müller showcases a personal, ingredient-driven style – top quality guaranteed. Much of what is served originates from the restaurant's own farm or trusted local producers. Vegetarian creations are no afterthought here: take, for instance, the garden-grown courgette enhanced with a hint of fruity caramel, paired with wonderfully aromatic fermented black cherries and freshly foraged ground elder – a

First things first: make sure you have some time to play with! Stefan Glantschnig and his team take you on a culinary journey around and through the Weissensee region. In a tasting menu comprising 12 beautifully coordinated, creative courses, top-notch ingredients from the immediate vicinity are showcased through exciting flavour combinations. The Chef's Table, limited to eight diners, is not in the kitchen but in a private room on the first floor of the Neusacherhof hotel. With its decorative display of cookbooks, the space feels almost like a small library, and the atmosphere is wonderfully

In addition to gorgeous hotel rooms and the upscale second restaurant, Rouge Noir, Neusacherhof is also home to Wirtshaus, where chef Stefan Glantschnig and his team put a contemporary spin on classic regional dishes. Their traditional character is deliberately retained while being cleverly enhanced with flavourful and visually appealing touches. In addition to the à la carte selection, there are daily specials – for those who find it difficult to choose, a surprise menu compiled from those options is available. The good food is complemented by a relaxed atmosphere in a modern Alpine-style set

There are several reasons why you feel at home here: first, there is the charming decor, which is fresh and contemporary yet retains a certain regional flavour, plus the terrace with a lovely view over the lake. Secondly, the food – you can expect cuisine that, although of a regional bent, is also open to international influences. Served in the form of a five- to eight-course set menu, the dishes, such as "octopus, cauliflower, Amalfi lemon, saffron" or "lamb, meadow herbs, tomato, romaine lettuce", always have a modern, creative twist. And then there are your friendly hosts Jakob and Lilly Li

Claudia and Manuel Ressi bring warmth and dedication to the running of this charming restaurant on the main square. The cuisine showcases select regional ingredients, which are presented in a kind of hybrid concept. On the one hand, there are the Austrian "Wirtshaus-Klassiker" à la carte (including Wiener schnitzel, Tafelspitz, Gailtaler Ripperl, and Backhendl), and then there is the four- to eight-course "Bärenwanderung" set menu with creative, modern dishes such as "Hühnerhof – organic chicken, beans, wild mushrooms, savory, buckwheat". You can also choose individual dishes from the set menu
