Since July 2021, Lara and Maximilian Schocke have been breathing new life into St Laurentiushof. Lara, with her warm personality and astute wine recommendations, is in charge of service. Here, diners can look forward to really good food which is both fresh and seasonal, as well as cordial service. Everything is pleasantly down-to-earth – just as you would expect in a wine tavern. The wine and game, like most of the produce, come from the region. Whether you opt for the classic rump steak, one of the daily specials or a vegetarian dish, be sure to leave room for the molten chocolate cake – just heavenly! Delightful courtyard terrace. In short: a fun dining experience!

Having worked at Lilly in Neupotz, Stefan Echle (service) and Matthis Nowak (kitchen) have found their new vocation – in the vaulted cellar of the separately run Villa Königsgarten hotel (formerly Weingut Diehl). The interior courtyard is gorgeous.

Christine Baumann presides in the kitchen, putting a Latin-American spin on Palatinate cuisine; Franziska Baumann provides friendly service. There is a short à la carte menu, from which you can also put together a three- or four-course meal. Regional wines accompany the seasonal cuisine.
